COLUMBUS BAR ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE FOR LOCAL LAWYER PROFILE WEBSITE

New Website Name is ColumbusLawyerFinder.com.

The Columbus Bar announces exciting enhancements to its online lawyer search site. The site, originally known as LiamLaw.com, has recently undergone substantial changes designed to improve its visibility on the web, including a name change that will make a clearer connection with consumers and small businesses. The site will now be known as ColumbusLawyerFinder.com. The change comes as a result of months of consulting with website marketing experts focused on how best to help the site come up earlier in web searches and how best to help the public understand what the site provides. After extensive research and analysis of multiple name choices, ColumbusLawyerFinder.com conveys the clearest possible meaning to the broadest possible group of site visitors, and will improve search engine and consumer ability to find and understand the site.

Site traffic has been strong and improves each month. To date in 2008, the top 10 areas visited on the site have been as follows: #1 Family Law attorneys, #2 Probate/Wills/Adoption attorneys, #3DUI/Criminal/Traffic attorneys, #4 Employment attorneys, #6 Small Business attorneys, #7 Consumer Debt attorneys, #8 General Litigation attorneys, #9 Legal Tool Kit, and #10 Injury and Accident attorneys.  It is expected that changes to the name and search engine friendliness of the site will increase the numbers of consumers and small businesses, seeking legal representation or consumer-friendly information about Ohio laws, who find the site.

The Columbus Bar Association has been helping connect people to local legal help for over 50 years, through its telephone Lawyer Referral Service. ColumbusLawyerFinder.com continues that tradition by helping consumers and small businesses seeking legal representation and/or information about Ohio laws online.
