Why did you become an attorney?

I became an attorney to help people improve their lives. Each client leaves our office better off than when they arrived. I feel very good about this fact.

What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?

I grew up overseas. As a result,  I have been exposed to many different people from all walks of life and cultures. In many ways, this has given me a unique ability to relate to and understand client's backrgrounds, beliefs and needs.

What made you choose your primary specialty focus of law?

Consumers are often taken advantage of by large financial institutions.  From predatory lending to abusive debt collection.  Consumers are too many times in a postion of lesser knowledge and sophistication.  I want to stand for these consumers and hold banks accountable for their bad acts. We are the ones that level the playing field.

What makes your law firm unique?

Experience.  Many firms claim to have experience, but when held to account for it they are referencing time spent while working at other firms.  In many instances, our firm.   We have successfully helped consumers for 23 years. This is real experience  you can rely on  and documented in our countless success stories and positive reviews.

Describe your ideal client.

When bad things happen to good people, we are here.  Our ideal client is honest, hard working and has just fallen on tough times.

Describe your personal interest and hobbies.

I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two daughters and they are the love of my life.  I very much enjoy my time with them.  I also enjoy sports, in particular football and hockey.  Last, I have always been fascinated by history and politics.

Describe your charitable activities.

JDRF, Boys and Girls Club  and various childrens charities through the Mercator Club.

Summary of Firm

Our firm focuses on providing solutions tailored to each client. This is very important to us and reflects our core values. As part of this commitment, every client meets with an attorney to develop the best possible strategy to help them change their lives. We transform people and improve lifestyles.

Consumers that are struggling financially are under stress and may have checked out of life as they once knew it.  They often times need both protection and a fresh financial  start under Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. Others may be able to find relief under a Debt Settlement program.

We also help people facing Foreclosure in state court without the need to file for Bankruptcy. We call this Foreclosure Defense.  Some of our clients are being abused by collectors in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) , the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ( TCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA) .

We litigate claims for our clients under these powerful statues , both on an individual and class action basis.  Finally, we offer student loan solutions for those struggling with student debt.  We will help individuals qualify for various income based re-payment plans for federal loans. We will also aggresively litigate private student loan cases that have been improperly filed against our clients.

Many of these private student loan cases may be settled or dismissed entirely.  Many of our collegues were actually  trained by our firm and we are  proud of this fact. We have a long history of success and want to add you to our list.  We look forward to the opportunty to help you.
