Why did you become an attorney?

I always knew I wanted to be in a profession that challeged and excited me. The practice of law does both. Also, I get a great deal of satisfaction in helping people.

What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?

I have known, worked with and represented many people who have had a big influence on me. My time and experience in the National Guard humbled me and made me appreciate the importance of hard work, communication and teamwork. Raising children has taught me patience and understanding, and working with major league baseball teams and the people who run them has sharpened my advocacy and negotiating skills.

What made you choose your primary specialty focus of law?

I enjoy being in the courtroom and advocating on behalf of my clients.

What makes your law firm unique?

We are a small firm, but have the experience and skills of attorneys in who work in big law firms. And we charge a lot less.

Describe your ideal client.

One who understands that we are in this together and realizes that anything worthwhile does not come easily.

Describe your personal interest and hobbies.

Among many other things, I enjoy spending time with my family and coaching youth sports.
