What made you choose your primary specialty focus of law?

I always knew I was meant to help others.  What I love about personal injury is that I am able to guide someone through one of the worst experiences of their lives.  I consider myself just as much a counselor as an attorney, and I take pride in the personal attention I provide to my clients.

What makes your law firm unique?

Our law firm is all about personal service.  We understand the need for client contact, and we try to make that contact as convenient as possible.  If you call in to our office and ask to speak to an attorney, an attorney in our office will be available to speak with you.  If you want to email us, we are available by email.

Describe your personal interest and hobbies.

I am the current reigning Mrs. Ohio America, and I competed at Mrs. America in Las Vegas, Nevada in September 2015 where I was a semi-finalist.

I enjoy being active - dancing, lifting weights, and yoga.  You will find me at coffee shops, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends.

I predominantly spend my time away from work with my family.  My husband Jason and I are both attorneys.  We believe this is likely why our toddler son is such a stellar negotiator.

Describe your charitable activities.

I am on the Nationwide Children's Hospital Development Board, where I help raise money for research and development through various fundraisers.  I am also a member of the admitting gift cart committee, so I get to drive a cart full of toys through the hospital and give gifts to the admitted patients.  I also had the opportunity to walk with a cancer survivor with the Nellie's Catwalk for Kids (NC4K) fashion show this past year while serving as Mrs. Ohio America.

Free Initial Consultation?

I provide a free initial consultation in all cases.

Typical Retainer Fees

If I take a case for an hourly rate, I request a $5,000.00 retainer to be replenished once the retainer amount hits $1,500.00.  Again, however, all personal injury plaintiff work is done on a contingency fee basis.

Fixed-Price Services and Fees

I take personal injury cases on a contingency fee basis; this means you pay no up-front costs for my services.  I am compensated at the end of the case.  I also front litigation expenses necessary to pursue your cause of action.

Fees by Hourly Rate

I charge $300.00 per hour for hourly rate billings.  However, the vast majority of my work is done on a contingency fee basis.
