In 2009 I joined the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, where I represented low-income consumers during the historic recession and foreclosure crisis. While at Legal Aid I authored a chapter of Ohio Consumer Law focused on student loans and helped student loan borrowers resolve defaults and apply for student loan discharges. In 2013 I joined Disability Rights Ohio as a staff attorney. In that role I represented individuals with disabilities in employment and higher education matters and offered advice about issues related to student loans and vocational rehabilitation services.
I recognized there was an unmet need for attorneys who could offer quality advice about the options available to people who were struggling with student loan debt. That motivated me to launch a practice focused on helping student loan borrowers understand their options and make smart choices about repayment.

At the Dann Law Firm we believe Ohio residents facing debt collection, foreclosure, bankruptcy and other types of financial distress need and deserve to be represented by experienced lawyers and professionals who know how to hold banks, debt buyers, debt collectors and financial predators accountable for the damage they do.
In 2007, I received my law degree from the City University of New York School of Law, where I served on the editorial board of the New York City Law Review. Following law school, I served for two years as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Sylvia H. Rambo, U.S. District Court Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, before joining the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland as an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Fellow. At Legal Aid I spent four years representing consumers and homeowners during the historic recession and foreclosure crisis. In 2013 I joined Disability Rights Ohio, where I represented individuals with disabilities fighting for civil rights in employment. In 2016 I went into private practice, focusing on assisting student loan borrowers.
